About Lexi Lampert

My name is Lexi Lampert, and my passion for dance has always been a driving force in my life. While I am currently a writer and second year student at McGill University, I spent 13 years as a competitive dancer in Toronto, Canada. Growing up in the early 2000s, I saw firsthand how technology began to influence the dance industry. From Zoom classes to studio promotions on social media, I experienced both the benefits and challenges of integrating technology into the arts.

Beyond dance, I am passionate about my love for cats, learning about different cultures, and exploring new cities—like Montreal!

Through my blog Technidance, I am excited to share both my personal experiences and research on how technology is shaping the competitive dance world.
